What should I expect when I visit?
At Shepherd of the Prairie, we know visiting a church for the first time can be both an exciting and anxious experience. And we know that your first time at a church, any church, brings up some questions. How do I get there…what should I wear…what’s available for my kids…what should I expect in church? To help you be able to enjoy the great music, life-changing messages, friendly people, and enjoyable atmosphere that are a part of Shepherd of the Prairie, here is a quick look at what you can expect when you visit our church.
Here at Shepherd of the Prairie, we’ll make sure the first face you see when you approach the church has a smile on it. Members of our Welcome Team will be nearby to help you get to where you need to go. Should you wish, feel free to fill out our WELCOME CENTER FORM to recieve more information.
You’ll enjoy uplifting music and Bible-based messages that help you grow as a Christian. What you learn on the weekend, you’ll be able to use during the week. Our desire is to help you apply the transforming truths of God’s word to your every-day life.
We know that as a parent you need be sure that your children are in a SAFE learning environment. And we know that your children are looking for a FUN place to learn the truths of the Bible. We’ve invested a lot to make sure that both of these goals are reached. You’ll see this in the ministry area your child is involved in, and even more in those who work with your kids.
